A New Season

"We can make our plans,but the Lord determines our steps."Proverbs 16:9Life is full of seasons. Sometimes we see the signs that a season is about to change. Other times the change is unforeseen and unexpected. What I am continuing to learn is that it truly is the Lord who orders our steps. Whether we expect it or not, He is the One who leads us and guides us to fulfill His will and purposes.Yesterday we announced to our Stone Church family that after a lot of prayer, communication and counsel we have accepted the role of Network Youth Director for the Northwest Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God. In early June we were contacted by the Northwest Ministry Network and asked to consider and pray if we might fill the role of the next Network Youth Director. We brought this to our Lead Pastor, Jon Oletzke, who encouraged us to pray and consider if God was doing something unexpected and unforeseen.This decision has been confirmed in our hearts and through the encouragement of others. We have loved our season in Yakima. We are thankful for the way we have been loved and received. Stone Church will continue to be family to us!We will begin our new role on August 27 working with youth pastors and youth ministries across Washington and Northern Idaho.We are excited for this new season and we would love your prayers for our family as we prepare to move into this new role.
