4 Reasons I'm Excited for #NWyouthconf 2014
Here are four reasons why I am CRAZY excited for NW Youth Conference 2014:
1. THE NEW
This year we have some new things.New scheduleNew formatNew student development and leader development breakoutsLunch onsite Saturday!! (Yep, no rushing and driving to find something)New surprises with our Friday night After PartyThere is A LOT that is new!
2. THE GUESTS
I’m thrilled with the people who are coming to invest in students across the Northwest. Our featured speakers Kevin Moore and Chad Veach have been with us in the NW before and we are excited to have them back.Crossing will be leading us in worship all weekend long.And there will be some fun surprises throughout the weekend.
3. THE PEOPLE
I love that at youth conference we gather with jr. high students, high school students and leaders from across Washington and North Idaho. The environment is amazing! And what makes it amazing is THE PEOPLE!There is nothing like being together with FAMILY!
Moments like this are significant for students and leaders because it helps us to see that the Kingdom is bigger than just "us".
4. THE FOCUS
The focus is and always will be Jesus!There is something powerful in seeing an auditorium full of students and leaders worship and pursue Him.Moments like that can become a catalyst that helps move us from the event to the everyday in our relationship with Jesus and engaging in His mission.
