INCREASE | Youth Pastors and Leaders Summit

in·crease [in-krees]to make greater, as in number, size, strength, or quality I am very excited about this years Youth Pastors and Leaders Summit coming up March 7-9, 2013 at Stone Church in Yakima, WA. There is nothing like the atmosphere where youth pastors and leaders from across the Northwest come together for a few days of training, equipping, relationship and encouragement. This years theme is INCREASE.When I think about that word and what it means I get a sense that God desires to bring that in our lives and in our churches. We need God's power at work in our lives to do what He has called us to do. We need Him to bring increase. I believe that God wants to develop us to become greater leaders. I believe that God wants to empower and strengthen our churches to become more effective at accomplishing the mission of seeing lives transformed by Jesus.In Ephesians 3:20-21 Paul says,

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

God's abilities go far beyond our abilities. He can do more than we can ask or even think of! I want my faith to increase to the level of what God is able to do!What would happen if your youth ministry and church experienced increase in number or size this year? What if the strength of your leadership and ministry experienced increase? What could happen across the Northwest if we saw increase in the quality of what we were doing each week?
