Ocean Shores Missions Trip | Day 1 and 2

This year for our student missions trip we came to serve Shores Fellowship Church in Ocean Shores, WA.  We are actually “part two” of the teams from Eastridge Church that have come to serve at Shores Fellowship Church.  A team came down earlier this year and added a new entry addition to the current church building.

We have a team of 16 students and leaders here serving the church and the community.  In the first two days we have accomplished quite a bit!  The building has been pressure washed and prepped for painting.  Hand rails have been sanded, rust removed and primed for painting.  Landscaping has been taking place.  By the end of day two the whole building has been sprayed and a portion of the building has been trimmed out!

The weather has been a huge concern.  All day long on day one it rained.  Not a big deal when you are pressure washing and getting soaked anyways!  But as for painting the rain wouldn’t work out well.  The team has been praying that the weather would clear and give us a chance to finish the painting.  God answered our prayers today!

I love being a part of a church that sees our mission across the street and around the world.  It is fun working with a team of students who love God and are passionate about serving His Church and His People!  We are having a blast.
