From the Weekend: FAMILY FEATURES
This weekend at Life Center we continued our series entitled ESSENTIALS. We have been on a journey in the book of Acts, looking at the practices and characteristics that are non-negotiable for Jesus followers, going back to our first century brothers and sisters.
This weekend I talked about FAMILY FEATURES, and the ESSENTIAL of Holiness. God is Holy, and He calls His children to be holy. It is a FAMILY FEATURE that He wants us to embody.

TWO WAYS TO GET HOLINESS WRONG:
Assume it doesn’t matter
Assume that you can provide it.
GRACE EMPOWERS US TO LIVE HOLY.
GOD HAS A STANDARD: HE EXPECTS US TO BE HOLY
If our relationship WITH God doesn’t move us to a reflection OF God, something needs adjustment.
GOD HAS A SOLUTION: HOLINESS IS A GIFT WE RECEIVE AND A GIFT WE STEWARD
The same grace that SAVED YOU is the same grace that will SUSTAIN YOU.
