Hang On

A simple note of encouragement:

Is life tough right now?
Hang on.

Does joy seem illusive?
Hang on.

Is there pain?
Hang on.

Are you disappointed with the distance between where you are and where you thought you would be?
Hang on.

Have you been let down by others?
Hang on.

Have you been let down by yourself?
Hang on.

Do you feel misinterpreted, misrepresented or misunderstood?
Hang on.

Are longing for change?
Hang on.

Do you feel hopeless as you consider the realities of this world?
Hang on.

Do you feel like there is a void in your life that is impossible to fill?
Hang on.

Hang on.  Hang on.  Hang on.

Here is good news: where you are at, what you are currently facing and the challenges that you may be up against right now are not the end of the story.

Find encouragement today from Jesus words.

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Matthew 11:28–30 (NLT)

Don’t confuse a season with a life sentence

Don’t give up hope. Why? Because Jesus is always faithful and always able.

Rest in Him today.

  1. This is excellent! In a world where we are almost taught to need instant gratification, we need to practice patience and selflessness. It is a moment by moment decision to trust Him. Especially when despair is all around us. I will speak aloud – God is Sovereign, and He loves me. Therefore, I will trust Him.

    1. Thanks Karen. Love that thought you shared with me yesterday – was thinking about it again this morning…

God is sovereign, and He loves me. Therefore, I will trust Him.

      So good!
